Vice Chair

Michael Malone

Michael is an MBA graduate and experienced operations and supply chain professional with more than a decade of leadership experience in manufacturing and operations management. Throughout his career, Michael has developed extensive experience managing complex operations, leading teams, and improving processes.

His professional background includes experience managing assembly plant operations as an operations manager. Responsibilities include: coordinating people, processes, production requirements, and organizational priorities. This experience has provided him with a strong foundation in workforce leadership, resource planning, performance management, process improvement, safety, budgeting, and the development of systems designed to produce consistent and measurable results.

Michael is working to bring these capabilities to Moab, to help create a structured, professionally operated environment where individuals can step away from the circumstances surrounding their addiction and focus on recovery, personal responsibility, stability, and rebuilding their lives.

Michael’s role will focus on organizational leadership, operational strategy, financial sustainability, facility operations, staffing infrastructure, regulatory readiness, and creating the systems necessary for the clinical team to deliver high-quality care.

The long-term objective is to establish a sustainable nonprofit rehabilitation organization in Moab that combines professional treatment with a highly structured residential environment and provides individuals with the foundation, resources, and support necessary to pursue lasting recovery and successfully transition back into their families and communities.
